The FLIR A65 is a compact thermal imaging camera designed for industrial automation, quality assurance, and process monitoring applications. It features a 640 × 512 pixel uncooled VOx microbolometer sensor, delivering detailed thermal images for precise temperature measurement. With a thermal sensitivity of less than 50 millikelvins (mK) at 30°C, the A65 can detect minute temperature differences, enhancing its effectiveness in monitoring and inspection tasks. The camera operates within a spectral range of 7.5–13 µm and offers multiple lens options, including 7.5 mm (90° × 69°), 13 mm (45° × 37°), 25 mm (25° × 20°), 50 mm (12.4° × 9.92°), and 100 mm (6.2° × 4.96°) fields of view, providing flexibility to adapt to various application requirements. It supports a wide object temperature range from -25°C to 135°C (-13°F to 275°F) and -40°C to 550°C (-40°F to 1022°F), depending on the specific measurement mode, and maintains an accuracy of ±5°C (±9°F) or ±5% of reading, ensuring reliable data for critical processes. The A65 is equipped with GigE Vision™ and GenICam™ compliance, enabling seamless integration with third-party machine vision software and systems. It also supports 14-bit temperature linear output, allowing for non-contact temperature measurements using compatible software. The camera's compact design, combined with its robust features, makes it a versatile tool for enhancing efficiency and quality in industrial environments.
