Product Information

RHP-BOS-DS-IF Dual Thermal Sensor Interface

The RHP-BOS-DS-IF Dual Thermal Sensor Interface (SKU: RHP-BOS-DS-IF) is an advanced solution that integrates both a thermal and a 1920 x 1080 HD visible camera on a single compact board. Designed for versatility and control, this module allows seamless switching between thermal and visible video streams via serial command, push button, S-Bus (16 channels), PWM (5 channels), or wireless joystick inputs. Operating on a wide 6 to 26V DC input with reverse polarity protection, it supports multiple viewing formats including Multi-Window Mode, Picture-in-Picture (PiP), Split View, Single, and Quad View.

Optimized for gimbal integration, the onboard IMU ensures smooth motion tracking and orientation awareness. The included visible camera comes with an optional IR-cut filter—used to block infrared wavelengths that can degrade image contrast, especially in high-sensitivity CMOS and CCD sensors. This makes the module ideal for precision imaging in surveillance, industrial inspections, or airborne applications where both IR and visual feeds are critical. We usually have a majority of these items in stock. If unsure, please call or contact us for availability.

RHP-BOS-DS-IF Dual Thermal Sensor Interface

Dual Boson Integration, One Streamlined Interface

The RHP-BOS-DS-IF allows you to connect and operate two FLIR Boson thermal cores simultaneously, enabling advanced stereo thermal imaging or multi-angle data capture from a single interface. This unique setup is ideal for applications requiring depth perception, enhanced target tracking, or wide-area thermal surveillance—without the need for multiple independent systems.

Synchronized Output & Enhanced Data Fusion

Designed for precision imaging workflows, this interface provides synchronized composite video output from both Boson cores. The result is a unified feed that can be used for 3D reconstruction, overlay fusion, or real-time comparative analysis. Whether you're developing AI-driven perception systems or environmental monitoring platforms, the DS-IF makes high-accuracy thermal alignment possible.

Seamless Command & Control Functionality

Featuring dual USB control ports, the DS-IF enables simultaneous communication with both connected Boson cores for parameter configuration, firmware updates, and command execution. Paired with compatible software, you can fine-tune gain, palette, zoom, and other settings for each core—unlocking full camera capabilities from a single, centralized interface.
